Bryan Murphy

As Canopy Growth’s Senior Vice President of Operations, Bryan Murphy leads Canopy’s global asset-right strategy, driving operational excellence, seamless integration and the safety and efficiency of our teams across cultivation, manufacturing, supply chain operations, procurement and planning. With nearly two decades experience, Bryan brings a data-driven, results-focused leadership style that places a strong emphasis on optimizing operational performance while fostering a culture of engagement, innovation, and continuous improvement.  

Since joining Canopy in 2019, Bryan has played an instrumental role in aligning and integrating business units, streamlining operations, enhancing product quality, and elevating the customer experience. Under his leadership, Canopy has increased asset utilization, delivered substantial cost reductions, and successfully implemented Lean manufacturing principles. His strategic vision has also strengthened supplier relationships and fostered a collaborative, high-performance culture across the organization. Prior to Canopy, Bryan held tactical and strategic leadership roles at multiple sector leading companies in consumer-packaged goods and mining. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from King’s University College at Western University.
